The cooperation agreement aims to strengthen existing strategic connections between the two institutions through their membership in the Top International Managers in Engineering (T.I.M.E.) Association. It was signed on October 24, 2023, in the run-up to the T.I.M.E. General Assembly hosted by the Polish university.

Founded in 1945, Wrocław University of Science and Technology - also called Wrocław Tech - has an enrolment of approximately 23,000 students, including some 1,500 international students representing more than over 60 countries, as well as 150 doctoral students and 747 people in its Doctoral School. The university has 14 faculties and over 2,280 academic teachers.

Wrocław Tech has positioned itself as one of Poland's top technological universities and it regularly ranks among the best universities in the country. Internationally, it is recognized for its performance in the fields of quantum computing and artificial intelligence, for its strategic involvement in the European Universities Initiative, and for its membership in the prestigious University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering (Unite!).

This agreement will pave the way for new collaborations between the two institutions. Polytechnique Montréal looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Wrocław Tech.
