![]() Flavia is an environmental engineer (2005) and holds a master’s in water resources (2010) from Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina. She has over 15 years of experience in water treatment and management, environmental impact assessment, and project management. In 2020, she defended her Ph.D. thesis titled “Drinking water treatment of sources containing cyanobacterial blooms with Vacuum UV (VUV)” (Polytechnique Montréal, Canada). Right after, she joined the Physics Department at Polytechnique Montréal where she coordinates the CREATE SEED training program and the UNESCO Chair in Green and Sustainable Electronics (GSE). She actively participates in several research projects to improve waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) management and valorization.
