Polytechnique Montréal consists of the Main Pavilion (inaugurated in 1958 / 71,650 m²), the J.-Armand-Bombardier Pavilion (inaugurated in 2004 / 13,803 m²) as well as the Lassonde pavilions (inaugurated in 2005 / 32,700 m²).

With 28% of its student community coming from 134 different countries outside Canada, Polytechnique values ethnic and cultural diversity. Through their activities focused on multiculturalism, student committees such as Poly-international, PolyExplore and PolyBuddy support the integration of international students and help the entire Polytechnique population to discover different cultures. While the proportion of women enrolled at Polytechnique is increasing and currently stands at 28%, the Poly-φ and Poly-L committees continue to promote women in engineering. Through Poly-Out, which raises awareness about the realities of the LGBTQIA+ community, Polytechnique fosters the growth and well-being of its student population.
